TEAC INTEGRATED DE-BRIEF STATION

The TEAC Integrated De-brief Station is designed to complement
the TEAC Airborne Hi-8mm Recorders in preserving and displaying the highest possible video quality. Each Hi-8mm tape may be viewed one at a time or all four may be displayed at one time with the high-resolution quad splitter. Also each audio channel may be mixed (rather than just switch selected) so that each cockpit audio from multiple aircraft may be monitored during playback.

Unique to the TIDS-970 model is the addition of the Merlin ME-970D scan converter. This allows Aircrew to view 875 line direct record FLIR video on the high resolution monitor.

Operators may need to make DVD copies of de-briefing segments for distribution, so a DVD recorder is included.

The whole system is packaged in rugged shock-mounted 19" rack cases. These cases are two man portable and come with stainless steel hardware, removable wheels, and tie-down points for shipping. Each case is water-proof, equipped with a pressure valve and sized to be easily carried through shipboard hatches and up/down stairs.

TEAC has developed the MC-3200 Synchronization Controller as the heart of the TIDS De-Briefing Station. This unit provides synchronization
and control of the four TEAC V-800G-F/ECB VCR’s built into the TIDS. Up to 8 TIDS stations can be linked by daisychainning the MC-3200 Controllers to synchronize up to 32 individual playback decks.

External monitors and projection systems can also be connected.

The TIDS can be deployed world-wide using built-in 220VAC to 110VAC power converters.
