The PCM/1553 UAC includes IRIG-B time code interface for synchronizing to external time code and can also interface to GPS receivers through an RS-232 or RS-422 interface for time code decoding and processing. The IRIG-B time code, decoded GPS time code, or an internal system clock is used to time stamp all interface data upon recording to the removable memory module (RMM).
