Removable Memory Module
for MDR-80

The TEAC Mission Data Recorder MDR-80 records video and data onto a Removable Memory Module (RMM). These rugged RMM’s have been developed to meet the demands of high temperature, shock and vibration extremes of military avionic environments. Two types of RMM’s are available and both support a variety of solid state flash drive storage capacities. Both RMM’s come equipped with TEAC’s unique spring loaded carrying handle. The carrying handle makes it easier to remove from the MDR-80 and provides a secure and easy way to carry the RMM.

The USB RMM comes equipped with a built in USB 2 interface for fast and easy connections directly to any computer. Once connected
to a PC, files can be directly accessed for debrief or the data can be transferred to the computer. The USB 2 connector is protected by a
spring loaded cover that prevents dust and debris from entering. The non USB RMM requires the use of the Removable Memory
Module Interface Unit (RMM-IU80) to access the data. Any TEAC MDR-80 RMM can be inserted into the RMM-IU80 which connects
to the PC using an IEEE1394 Firewire cable. Either RMM can be configured with 8, 12, 16, 32 and 64GB solid

state flash drive memory capacities.
